What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daily Route Driver position at TWIN OAKS INDUSTRIES INC?
Twin Oaks Industries is currently looking for a day route Class A CDL driver. Home every night and weekends, no out of state routes.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer, 3/4-ton pickup and goose neck combo.
- Provide excellent service to customers.
- As a representative of Twin Oaks Communicate professionally with customers.
- Palletize, wrap, secure, load, unload freight.
- Work with other employee’s to pick parts for customer orders when required.
- Follow company procedures, safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license required.
- Safe driving record and history.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule.
- All other tasks assigned by supervisor
This job requires the ability to:
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally); move and position a dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.
- Must be able to pass CDL Physical.
- Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer.
- Sit for extended periods of time in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forklift.
