Twin Oaks is looking for dependable, energetic, and compassionate Direct Care Staff to join our team at the Sweet Springs Activity Center.
This isn’t a job where you’ll spend your entire day sitting behind a desk. Our Direct Care Staff work directly with adults with developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, work toward personal goals, participate in activities, and stay connected to their community.
Some days might include games, crafts, or group activities. Other days may include community outings, working on life skills, or simply being there to encourage someone through their day. No two days are exactly the same.
What You’ll Do
- Support individuals with daily activities and personal goals
- Encourage independence and development of life skills
- Participate in activities, games, outings, and community events
- Assist with personal care and daily needs as necessary
- Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment
- Build meaningful relationships with the individuals we support
- Work as part of a team to provide quality care
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t have to come to us with years of experience. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Dependable and ready to show up for their team
- Patient, respectful, and compassionate
- Comfortable working with adults with developmental disabilities
- Willing to learn and participate in training
- Able to meet all required background and employment requirements
- A high school graduate or GED recipient

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
