Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, skilled, and energetic Property Maintenance / Handyman to help keep our club property operating at their best. In this role, your hands-on expertise ensures our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for members, guests, and staff.
You’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day maintenance tasks, perform preventative upkeep, troubleshoot issues, and support facility operations with a strong focus on quality, safety, and service. Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
- Repair fixtures, furniture, doors, locks, windows, and cabinetry.
- Address work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failure.
Facility Upkeep
- Inspect clubhouse daily to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage rooms.
- Assist with minor painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry tasks.
Grounds & Equipment
- Support upkeep of outdoor areas around the clubhouse (walkways, patios, entrances).
- Perform minor landscaping duties as needed (pressure washing, debris removal, etc.).
Event Support
- Assist with setup and breakdown for clubhouse events or functions (tables, chairs, lighting).
- Ensure facilities are cleaned and restored after events.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
- Report hazards, damages, or major repair needs to management.
- Ensure equipment is used and stored safely.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance, handyman work, or facilities management required.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Work Environment
- Mixed time in and outside the clubhouse and surrounding property.
- May require working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Reports To: General Manager
Employment Type: Will consider Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
