Twin City Staffing is hiring a grinder for a growing manufacturing team in Monticello! This role is essential for shaping, smoothing, and finishing metal components to exact specifications. Location: Monticello, MN
Wage: $20.00 – $25.00/hr.
Hours: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Thursday

Duties of the grinder:
- Operate hand, bench, and automated grinders
- Remove burrs and surface imperfections from metal
- Interpret blueprints and production specifications
- Select proper wheels and abrasives for different metals
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintain a clean workspace per 5S standards
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and safety checks
Requirements of the grinder:
- Experience in metal grinding or fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Knowledge of metal types and grinding techniques
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
