Job Title: Welder - 2nd shift
Hours are Monday- Thursday 2:30pm to 1am
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, and TIG welders
- Weld components in flat or vertical positions
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during welding operations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder or completion of a welding program, minimum of 1 year
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG welding
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a welding environment
Reliable and prompt in attendance
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must complete background check and preemployment drug test
