Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to residents in an assisted living or nursing home setting - Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration accurately - Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and mental health status - Implement care plans and assist with therapeutic activities - Ensure resident safety and well-being at all times - Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents - Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality Requirements: - Previous experience in senior care or dementia care is preferred - First aid certification is required - Knowledge of medication administration procedures - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as needed - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
