What You'll Do
As a Production Technician, you'll be at the heart of our shop floor, operating CNC equipment and assembling custom cabinet and closet components to exact specs.
CNC Operation & Cutting
- Set up, run, and monitor CNC routing and cutting equipment
- Read production specs, cut lists, and engineering files to process materials accurately
- Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting
- Minimize waste through careful nesting and handling
Assembly & Component Production
- Build closet and cabinet components to spec using job files and drawings
- Check dimensions, hardware, and finish quality throughout assembly
- Catch errors before they move down the line
- Keep your workstation organized and efficient
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Hold yourself to a high standard of accuracy
- Speak up about waste, inefficiencies, or recurring issues
- Communicate clearly with your team and the Production Manager
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Some experience in a shop, manufacturing, or hands-on fabrication environment
- Comfort operating power tools or machinery
- Ability to read cut lists or basic assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- A team-first attitude and reliable communication
- Alignment with our core values and a continuous improvement mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CNC routers or panel processing equipment
- Background in cabinetmaking, millwork, or custom fabrication
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing
- Experience reading CAD output or engineered drawings
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shop for extended periods
