Draftsman

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Drafter to join our innovative design team. • Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate schematics and plans.
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details that meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Create precise mechanical designs and schematics for manufacturing or construction purposes.
• Utilize CAD tools to produce both conceptual sketches and detailed fabrication drawings for various projects.
• Assist in the development of 3D models and visualizations, including 2D animations where applicable, to facilitate project understanding and client presentations.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards while maintaining consistency across documents.
• Maintain organized records of all drafting files, revisions, and project documentation for easy access and version control.
• Support the review process by checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability before submission or fabrication.
• Stay updated on the latest drafting techniques and software updates to continuously improve productivity and quality.

• Proven experience in technical drafting within architecture, civil engineering, mechanical design or related fields.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, SolidWorks or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles for construction documentation and mechanical schematics.
• Experience creating detailed 2D drawings as well as 3D models for visualization purposes.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations relevant to drafting practices.
• Ability to interpret complex design concepts accurately and communicate them effectively through detailed drawings.
• Knowledge of construction processes or manufacturing workflows is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in all deliverables.
