Salary: $110,000 - $130,000

[REMOTE] Structural Engineer Description

Our client, a manufacturer of custom structural building systems, is looking to bring engineering capabilities in-house with their first Staff Structural Engineer. Working on a variety of commercial structural support systems, you'll perform structural analysis, develop practical solutions, and collaborate with drafting and manufacturing teams to bring custom designs from concept through fabrication. You'll be responsible for engineering and structural design while partnering with an outside licensed engineer for final review and sealed drawings. [REMOTE] Structural Engineer Responsibilities

• Design structural support systems for custom metal building products and assemblies

• Perform structural analysis to ensure code compliance and product performance

• Develop connection details for welded, bolted, and anchored structural systems

• Prepare structural calculations and supporting documentation for licensed review

• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements

• Partner with drafting to develop and review fabrication and shop drawings

• Support product design improvements and fabrication efficiency

• Coordinate engineering schedules and deliverables with project teams

• Review delegated engineering documents and outside engineering submittals

• Assist with prototype development, product testing, and product enhancements

[REMOTE] Structural Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required

• 3 years of structural engineering and design experience required

• Experience with ASCE 7 load calculations and structural connection design required

• Strong background with 3D CAD software required
