Our client is seeking a Warehouse & Purchasing Coordinator to support day-to-day purchasing, receiving, and warehouse operations for a growing building automation company. You’ll spend about 50% of the time supporting office-based purchasing responsibilities, with the remaining time focused on receiving shipments, organizing materials, and supporting warehouse operations. Given their growth over the last year, they are expanding their team to add this new position. You’ll receive training from their current Purchasing Coordinator. So, whether you have hands-on purchasing experience or more of an office administration, logistics, or operations support background, this could be a great opportunity to grow your skillset. You’ll receive training from their current Service Coordinator, who will help you learn their purchasing processes, systems, and day-to-day operations. Warehouse & Purchasing Coordinator (office admin or supply-chain exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Create and maintain purchase orders in Sage Intacct
• Process purchasing requests and coordinate orders with vendors
• Communicate order status and delivery updates to internal team members
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
• Organize and store incoming materials while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse
• Assist with unloading deliveries using company equipment (forklift training will be provided)
• Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory records in Sage Intacct
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure materials are available when needed
• Provide general administrative support to the Operations team
Warehouse & Purchasing Coordinator (office admin or supply-chain exp. req.) Qualifications
• 2 years of office administration, logistics, or inventory experience required
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software required
• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment, including receiving shipments and lifting materials up to 50 pounds as needed
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
