[HYBRID] Supply Chain Planner Description

Our client, a manufacturing company with a global footprint, is looking for an analytical and strategic Supply Chain Planner to join their team in Westchester County. This is a hands-on role supporting the flow of materials and production from vendors through manufacturing and into inventory. You’ll coordinate with the Production Manager, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to manage orders, track production, maintain accurate inventory and ERP records, and help ensure customer commitments are met. The right person will be extremely process-driven, comfortable managing data from different sources, and able to understand how the details impact the broader supply chain.

[HYBRID] Supply Chain Planner Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize production orders based on customer needs and inventory levels

• Coordinate production requirements with the Production Manager and manufacturing partners

• Manage work orders, batch tickets, POs, and related transactions in the ERP system

• Coordinate with vendors on orders, delivery timing, and material availability

• Monitor production and material requirements and address shortages or delays

• Reconcile inventory with third-party manufacturers to maintain accurate inventory records

• Review MRP data and inventory levels to support supply and production planning

• Review customer orders and help establish appropriate product availability dates

• Translate vendor and manufacturer information into accurate ERP transactions and records

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and support ongoing supply chain improvements

[HYBRID] Supply Chain Planner Qualifications

• 3 years of supply chain, planning, purchasing, or related manufacturing experience required

• Experience supporting production planning tied to manufacturing operations required

• ERP/MRP experience with strong Excel and overall technology skills required
