Our client, a precision manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead their growing manufacturing operations in Lawrence, MA. In this role, you will oversee daily precision machining and metal stamping operations, manage production, schedules, personnel, and monitor key lean manufacturing metrics. You’ll be a key member of the leadership team, driving lean initiatives and managing performance across departments including Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics. The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Sr. Operations Manager (Lean Manufacturing exp req) Responsibilities
• Direct daily manufacturing activities for production, subcontracting, and shipments
• Set and manage daily and weekly production goals
• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing practices across all departments
• Track productivity and throughput metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Analyze and act on key production and throughput data
• Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and goals with leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics
• Oversee customer production and delivery schedules to meet shipping targets
• Manage hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews for staff
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies

• 5 years of manufacturing management experience required
