We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Photo Editor to support our growing production workload.
Role Description
You’ll work closely with our creative team to retouch, color-match, prep, and deliver high-quality photo assets for campaigns, ecommerce, and lifestyle storytelling.
This role requires consistency, strong communication, and the ability to match the 29NWS visual style.
Responsibilities
- Match color, tone, and contrast across large sets of images
- Apply 29NWS’s natural-light, true-to-life, premium style to all finished assets
- Retouch lifestyle, product photography in Adobe Lightroom Photoshop
- Handle batch edits and maintain an organized workflow
- Follow creative direction, brand guidelines, and reference samples
- Deliver edits on time and communicate progress clearly
- Maintain confidentiality with all client assets
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showing clean retouching and polished lifestyle edits
- Expert-level skill in Lightroom Photoshop
- Ability to match a reference style and maintain consistency
- Experience editing product / ecommerce images is a plus
- Familiarity with color management, profiles, and export optimization
- Reliable communication and ability to hit deadlines
- Comfortable working with large file sets through cloud sharing tools (Dropbox, Pixieset, etc.)
Bonus Skills
- Video color grading experience
- Knowledge of commercial photography workflows
- Understanding of brand-forward visual storytelling
- Basic ability to design simple assets (lookbooks, social layouts, etc.)
Compensation
- Contract / per-project or hourly
- Rate based on experience and speed
