Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Front Desk Representative role located in Palm Desert, CA. The Front Desk Representative will welcome guests, complete check-in and check-out processes, and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Responsibilities include handling reservations, managing room assignments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate guest records. The role also involves answering phones, directing calls, and providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. The Front Desk Representative will collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams, resolve guest concerns promptly, and help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming lobby environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out procedures, handling reservations, and basic front office administration.
- Effective phone etiquette and communication skills for managing incoming calls, messages, and guest requests.
- Experience with reservations systems or property management systems is preferred, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for processing payments and balancing the cash drawer.
