EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

The Steward, A Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotels is currently seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping Department to surpass brand standards and Owner expectations.  As part of the property team you will help us “craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns”! Position Responsibilities:

•    Managing the Department Associates and P&L

•    Interviewing, hiring, disciplining and motivating Housekeeping staff

•    Implement 247Hotels and Brand operational procedures for the housekeeping department

•    Train staff on the Brand's standard in the Quality of Service

•    Assign and inspect rooms daily

•    Controls ordering, managing and inventory of supplies throughout the month.

•    Reviews all costs associated with the Department and approve budgeted expenses using checkbook accounting methods

•    Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that health regulations, safety standards and departmental policies are being met.

Education and Experience:

•    Previous hotel housekeeping management experience required.

•    Skilled in hotel systems and technologies

•    Experience working with the Marriott Family of brands, highly preferred

•    Must be organized and detail oriented.

•    Individual must have a great deal of flexibility in schedule due to business needs
