Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and hospitality. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and wine pairings.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure guest safety.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
