Position Overview:
TWC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Estimator to support our commercial waterproofing and masonry division. This role is essential to our fast-paced service team, providing accurate repair estimates, technical scopes, and field-based problem-solving for exterior building envelope systems.The ideal candidate brings hands-on knowledge of masonry and waterproofing repairs—including grout and sealant injections—and is comfortable working in both the office and the field to support dynamic client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate estimates for commercial masonry and waterproofing service work, including emergency repairs, routine maintenance, and restoration scopes.
- Conduct field visits to assess existing conditions, diagnose issues, and collaborate with technicians or clients to develop effective repair solutions.
- Scope a wide range of repairs including but not limited to grout and sealant injections, joint sealants, façade restoration, flashing repairs, coatings, and structural masonry.
- Utilize service and sales CRM platforms (e.g., FollowUp CRM, FCS) to manage pipeline activity, track opportunities, and support collaboration with sales and operations.
- Develop proposals and quotes that clearly outline scope, pricing, and recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with service managers, technicians, and sales reps to ensure feasibility and alignment of scopes.
- Problem-solve in real time to recommend safe and effective solutions while meeting project constraints.
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships to support cost accuracy and availability.
- Stay current with new materials, application methods, and code requirements in the masonry and waterproofing industry.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of estimating experience in commercial waterproofing, masonry, or building envelope services.
- Hands-on knowledge of repair techniques including grout and sealant injections, concrete patching, joint replacement, coatings, and flashing systems.
- Strong understanding of building façade systems and how to diagnose and scope effective repairs.
- Familiarity with service and sales CRMs, ideally FollowUp CRM and/or FCS Software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and takeoff/markup tools (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specs, and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
