What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at TWC Concrete LLC?
TWC Concrete is a leader in a full range of concrete services, including tilt-up construction and flatwork. Our project experience ranges from industrial buildings and manufacturing facilities to multistory structural concrete projects in both the public and private sectors.
We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator. This position supports large-scale commercial concrete projects including foundations, slabs, and structural concrete work.
Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, dozers and skid steers safely and efficiently
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling
- Fine grade for slabs, footings, and foundations
- Read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes
- Complete daily equipment inspections
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial construction equipment operation
- Proven experience with excavators, dozers and skid steers (all yellow iron)
- Experience supporting concrete sitework preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred:
- GPS grade control experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
