All substitutes work with at least one experienced staff member. You are able to accept or decline the position when called. Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Support daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation.
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Document client progress and report any changes to the care team.
- Engage clients in recreational and social activities to promote well-being.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the workplace.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in caregiving or support roles, particularly with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Bilingual preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Background check clearance required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
