The Solutions Architect serves as the on-site system specialist for all sequencing, planning, and execution activities supported by JDA (Blue Yonder) and Insequence. This role ensures accurate data flow between systems, supports real-time production and shipping needs, troubleshoots system issues, and drives process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer delivery performance. The Architect partners closely work with Operations, IT, Engineering, Quality, and Customer teams to maintain system integrity and optimize material movement on the production floor.

System Ownership & Support
- Serve as the site expert for JDA (Blue Yonder) and Insequence functionality, configuration, and workflows.
- Monitor daily system health, interfaces, and sequencing accuracy to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Troubleshoot system and transactional issues; coordinate escalations with IT or corporate system owners as needed.
- Maintain accurate configuration settings, master data, model numbers, and pick/sequence rules.
- Validate and reconcile interface errors between JDA, Insequence, WMS, ERP, and customer systems.
Sequencing & Material Flow
- Oversee sequencing requirements and ensure material is released, picked, and delivered to the line based on customer specifications.
- Monitor production and shipping schedules to anticipate issues and proactively adjust sequencing logic.
- Ensure timely updates of broadcasted schedules, customer requirement changes, and engineering revisions.
- Validate that inventory and material movement transactions are accurately captured and posted in real time.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide floor-level support during production to address sequencing or system-related disruptions.
- Analyze system performance data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements that reduce delays, errors, or waste.
- Support new product launches, model year changes, engineering updates, and process revisions requiring system adjustments.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, user instructions, and training materials.
- Train operators, supervisors, planners, and other end-users on JDA and Insequence best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations and Materials teams to ensure alignment between system logic and physical workflows.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to maintain accurate BOMs, routings, and build processes.
- Participate in customer calls, readiness meetings, and issue-resolution discussions as the system SME.
- Support internal audits and customer audits related to sequencing, traceability, and material movement accuracy.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of JDA/Blue Yonder and Insequence systems
- Working understanding of automotive or manufacturing sequencing processes.
- Ability to interpret BOMs, broadcast schedules, engineering changes, and routing instructions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret system data and identify root causes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, support, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to preventing production disruptions.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in system work.

Education & Experience
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

2 years of experience in materials planning, sequencing, WMS/ERP operations, or system support roles.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA), Insequence, or similar execution systems required.

Experience in automotive sequencing, tier-1 manufacturing, or a high-volume production environment is highly preferred.
