Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP) invites you to join our growing team in Carlisle, PA. FSIP manufacturers and remanufactures electronics for numerous electric vehicles and equipment markets.


In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our business strategy by managing customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing exceptional technical and product support. You’ll partner closely with internal teams, represent FSIP at customer sites and industry events, and help drive both short-term wins and long-term growth initiatives.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

  • Initiate and maintain regular contact with customers, both in-person and via phone, to build strong and lasting relationships
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within the target customer base
  • Keep customers informed of product offerings, updates, and ongoing promotional programs
  • Manage customer inquiries, including processing quotes, orders, and questions related to pending orders
  • Monitor and manage entered orders, providing customers with timely updates as needed
  • Follow up on outstanding customer issues and ensure all concerns are thoroughly documented and resolved
  • Collaborate with internal sales staff to identify and act on new sales opportunities
  • Assist the Sales Support and Quality teams in delivering elevated service levels when required
  • Conduct onsite product demonstrations for customers as needed
  • Provide support for trade shows, conventions, and related marketing events
  • Conduct and prepare sales analysis reports to support strategic decisions
  • Deliver high-level sales presentations to customers and partner organizations
  • Prepare and deliver product and service quotations accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain up-to-date and detailed CRM notes on all customer interactions and account activities
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding the status and delivery of pending orders
  • Travel to customer and prospect locations as required to support sales initiatives
  • Provide technical support for Motive Power products, ensuring customers receive accurate and effective guidance


HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

  • Position requires overnight travel, up to 5-7 nights per month
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior sales experience in a related field
  • Technical background or familiarity with the markets served is strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer applications
  • Strong communication skills, including professional verbal, written, listening, and telephone etiquette
  • Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving customer and business issues
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for travel to customer sites and events
