Financial Reporting Accountant

Full-Time | Finance | Location – Olathe, KS

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to oversee the financial reporting process of uploading subsidiary financial data into the group’s global consolidation and reporting system. In addition, this role will assist in the month-end close activities, reconciliations, and journal entries. Want to be part of a global company? Apply today!

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

• Compiling individual trial balances from various North America companies and uploading them into a global consolidation platform

• Perform intercompany reconciliations

• Collaborate with finance professionals globally to investigate intercompany differences.

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries.

• Compile and submit monthly supplemental reports for financial statements.

• Assist in month-end close activities.

• Perform additional general accounting and financial tasks as needed.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred

• Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or Oracle) a plus.

• 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or reporting preferred.

• Proficient in Excel

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up capabilities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
