Sales Floor Associate – Formalwear Consultant
Tuxedos To Geaux is looking to immediately hire one or more full-time Sales Floor Associates to join our growing team!
If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and love helping customers look and feel their best for life's biggest events, we'd love to meet you. No formalwear experience is required—we provide all the training you'll need.
What You'll Do
As a Sales Floor Associate, you'll work directly with customers shopping for weddings, proms, galas, and other special occasions. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Measuring and fitting customers for suits and tuxedos
- Assisting customers in selecting styles and accessories
- Operating the register and processing transactions
- Answering questions and helping resolve customer concerns
- Keeping the showroom clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Working as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with customers
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Comfortable learning how to measure and fit customers (we'll teach you!)
- Able to multitask in a busy retail environment
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Available to work Tuesdays through Saturdays
Retail or customer service experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person.
Schedule
Our showroom is open:
- Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (soft opening on Saturdays at 9:30 AM)
- Closed Sundays, Mondays, and major holidays
Applicants must be available to work during our business hours, including Saturdays.

Qualifications
Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Retail sales experience is a plus, but not required
