Children's Ballet Teacher at Tutu School Scottsdale

Tutu School Scottsdale (Scottsdale, AZ) and Tutu School Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ) are seeking to hire children's ballet teachers. Scottsdale is currently seeking teachers for morning classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, as well as Tuesday afternoons. Arcadia is seeking bilingual (English and Spanish) children's ballet teachers for afternoon classes on Mondays. Applicants for both locations will need to be available for training and able to begin teaching regularly. Scottsdale morning classes are typically held from 9:30 am–11:30 am, with afternoon classes from 3:30–6:30 pm. Arcadia afternoon classes are typically held from 3:30–5:30 pm. There are occasional birthday parties on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, as well as camps during school holiday breaks. Our Scottsdale studio is located at 6969 E Shea Blvd at the intersection of Shea and 70th St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable. Our Arcadia studio is located at 1384 E Indian School Rd at the intersection of E Indian School and N 32nd St.

Tutu School

Tutu School is a boutique storybook ballet school that provides a creative dance education experience for children from 6 months to 8 years old. It is a place where students are encouraged to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies, and where we not only focus on teaching children age-appropriate motor skills and the fundamental principles of ballet, but also expose them to the world of classical music and the enchanting stories of famous ballets.

Responsibilities

• Teaching children aged 6 months - 8 years old
• Represent Tutu School and help to build membership
• Be prepared to maintain a clean and presentable studio for class
• Adhere to the proprietary Tutu School curriculum

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Have a dance background, ballet preferable
• Experience working with toddlers and children
• Be comfortable interacting with current and potential Tutu School families
