We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Runner to join our team in a fine dining Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to maintain the high standards that our guests expect.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly and efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to guests
- Ensure all dishes are correctly plated and presented to meet high standards
- Ensure all tables are properly set with all necessary condiments, utensils, and napkins
- Communicate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Respond promptly and professionally to any requests from guests
- Keep the dining room clean, organized, and free of clutter
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a food runner in a restaurant
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team player who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction
