What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ford/Lincoln Parts Driver position at Tuttle Click Ford Inc?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Completes all paperwork accurately and in a readable manner either utilizing computer equipment or manually depending on the work required. Enters retrieves and locates data on computer system.
- Accurately compares part numbers and part names to printed invoices and order forms. Compares and checks all invoices for accuracy on all sales.
- Solicits customers for parts and accessories sales using phone and personal contacts.
- Answers telephone and respond to inquiries.
- Makes decisions on best method for maintaining neatness and order in inventory area.
- Reads basic maps, follows written directions to off-site locations; schedules deliveries and pick-ups in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Calls in from each stop made adjusting schedule as needed.
- Insures money received is correct; ability to perform in a safe and secure manner.
- Must be at least 25 years old with a valid California class "C" driver's license and clean DMV driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
- Self-starter and self-motivator.
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
