What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Tutti Freschi Corp.?
Our company is currently in need of a talented bakers. The baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods by following established recipes and techniques. We expect you to be able to multitask. You should have previous baking experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produces baked goods according to recipes.
- Determines baking schedule after discussing with Supervisor taking allergens into consideration.
- Participates in recipe development and modification.
- Responsible for quality control to ensure high quality consistent products.
- Ensures work area and equipment is cleaned according to instructions and maintains and standards.
- Assists in inspecting incoming ingredients and ensures the proper storage of ingredients and finished pastries.
- Labels and packages finished products as required by customer and WSDA.
- Assists in maintaining inventory and notifying responsible person of ordering needs and insuring ingredients are used in a FIFO order according to expiration dates.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Reading and math skills for measurements and recipes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use tools and equipment as needed.
- Ability to document use of ingredients in baking and maintain an accurate count of product produced.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Education required.
- 2 - 5 years of work experience or the equivalent required.
The successful candidate will need to pass a drug test and background check as well as provide documents of their ability to work in the US.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
