What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish Tutor position at Tutoring Club?
Tutoring Club of Costa Mesa is on a mission to help students succeed academically while building confidence and motivation. We provide instruction in a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for personalized support in a small group setting. All curriculum and lesson plans are created in-house, so you can focus on what matters most—teaching and connecting with students.
What You’ll Do:
- Tutor up to 3 students at a time
- Use prepared, individualized lesson plans—no prep or take-home grading
- Provide clear instruction and positive reinforcement
- Track student progress and communicate with the Center Director
- Foster a fun, encouraging learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Great communicator with a patient, upbeat attitude
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not required
- Available at least 2 days per week
