Partnerships Director

67,000 school districts. 50 million students. One platform that changes everything.

Work Location: Hybrid (Office/Remote)

TutorCloud.AI is building the most advanced AI-powered tutoring platform in the world — one that delivers personalized, Socratic, one-on-one instruction to every K–12 student for less than the cost of a single textbook. No human tutors. No scheduling. No waiting lists. Just an AI tutor that knows every student’s name, remembers every misconception, and never gives up on any child.

We’re looking for the sales leader who will put this platform in every school in America.

Position Overview

We are looking for a high-performing, results-driven Sales leader to join our US Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in EdTech with rapid advancement to a leadership role.

As an Partnership Director, you will manage the entire sales cycle—from conducting initial discovery calls and delivering tailored product demonstrations to negotiating contracts and closing deals. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understanding their unique School challenges and demonstrating how our solution solves them.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Execution: Manage the complete end-to-end sales funnel, converting qualified leads (from inbound marketing and SDRs) into paying customers.

Outbound Prospecting: Strategically target and prospect into key accounts within your assigned territory or vertical to generate net-new opportunities.

Discovery & Demos: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls to understand prospects’ pain points, business goals, and technical requirements, followed by highly customized product presentations.

Value Selling: Position our solution effectively against competitors, focusing on ROI, business value, and long-term partnership.

Negotiation & Closing: Drive the contract negotiation process, navigating procurement, legal, and security reviews to secure win-win agreements.

CRM Hygiene: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, forecasts, and customer data in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to optimize the customer journey.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 3 to 6 years of EdTech sales experience as a quota-carrying Sales Lead and leading a sales team.

US Market Expertise: Proven track record of selling to US-based EdTech buyers. Solid understanding of US School culture, purchasing behaviours, and procurement cycles.

Sales Methodology: Familiarity with modern sales frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling, or Sandler).

Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch to K-12 decision Makers.

Tools: Proficiency with modern sales stacks (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach/Sales loft).

Time Management: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of active deals simultaneously.

Work Hours: Must be willing to work in US time zones (typically EST, CST, or PST depending on territory assignment).

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary uncapped OTE (On-Target Earnings) commission structure.

Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

401(k) matching/retirement benefits.

Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) and company holidays

Equal Opportunity Employer

We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applications are welcome from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.
