Position Overview
Tutor Zone is seeking a dependable, caring, and motivated Teacher Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, has prior classroom experience, and is passionate about helping students succeed in a structured, positive learning environment.

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM-3:00 PM or 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction.
- Support students in grades K-8 with academic activities.
- Help maintain a structured, positive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
- Prepare instructional materials and organize the classroom.
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other activities.
- Communicate professionally with staff and families when needed.
- Perform other classroom-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in a school, tutoring, preschool, or similar educational setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Comfortable assisting with K-8 curriculum and learning activities.
- Patient, dependable, and professional.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or coursework in education is preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
Compensation
$15-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
