About the Role:
Tutor with Essie is seeking a reliable, caring, and proactive part-time nanny/sitter for a family in Mineola, NY. This is a short, consistent weekday shift, ideal for someone local looking for supplemental income.
Child:
- 16-month-old toddler
Responsibilities:
- Walk the family dog at 4:00 PM
- Perform light housekeeping (tidying up, basic cleaning)
- Pick up child from daycare around 5:00 PM (daycare is ~5 minutes away)
- Provide attentive and nurturing care
Requirements:
- Must live very close to Mineola, NY (this is a short shift; proximity is REQUIRED)
- Reliable transportation
- Prior childcare experience (toddler experience preferred)
- Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable with dogs
