Bilingual Spanish-English Tutor (Technology & Life Skills Support)

About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Los Angeles, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Los Angeles, CA
• Schedule: 10 hours, 2 sessions a week for 1.25 hours
• Pay range is between $25 and $35
  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to provide clear instruction in both languages.
• Background in education, special education, or cognitive coaching with experience supporting executive functioning and life skills.
• Knowledgeable in technology and creative software, including music or media tools (e.g., GarageBand, AI platforms).
• Patient, organized, and adaptable to a learner's individual interests and goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to promote confidence and self-direction
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bilingual instruction (Spanish and English) focused on improving Spanish grammar, mechanics, and writing skills.
• Support the development of executive functioning skills, including organization, planning, task initiation, and follow-through.
• Teach and reinforce life skills related to independence and self-advocacy.
• Introduce and guide the student through technology-related learning, such as basic computer literacy, creative software (e.g., GarageBand), and foundational AI concepts.
• Design engaging, structured lessons that balance academic, practical, and creative learning goals.
• Offer consistent encouragement, structure, and accountability to foster motivation and growth
