- Competitive pay based on specialization ($25–$35/hour).
- Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays after 3:30PM
- Hours; 73 hours per month, Twice a week for 1.5 hours
- Opportunity to add additional sessions in the future
- Start ASAP
- Provide individualized instruction in foundational math skills
- Break down math concepts into clear, manageable steps
- Support student with focus, attention, and task completion
- Use visual aids, hands-on materials, and repetition to reinforce learning
- Implement structured routines and predictable session formats
- Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to build confidence
- Adjust pacing and instruction based on student’s attention and comfort level
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and trusting learning environment
- Experience working with students with Autism and ADHD
- Strong background in special education or behavioral support strategies
- Skilled in providing structured, step-by-step math instruction
- Comfortable using visual supports, manipulatives, and repetition-based teaching
- Patient, calm, and consistent in approach
- Able to provide gentle redirection and support attention/focus needs
- Must be female (student is not comfortable working with male tutors)
