As a Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to a student in their home. You will be responsible for supporting the student with daily academic activities, offering encouragement, and delivering tailored instruction based on their individual learning needs.
Details:
- In-Person Tutoring in Berkeley, CA
- Comfortable working with a college student
- Comfortable with Introductory Statistics
- Pay range is $40 per hour (negotiable)
- Multiple tutoring sessions per week (flexible afternoons, evenings, or weekends)
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on statistics concepts and problem-solving.
- Adapt materials, examples, and teaching methods to match the student’s learning style and academic goals.
- Track and document the student’s progress, adjusting instruction as needed to reinforce understanding.
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any questions.
- Create a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages confidence and academic growth in chemistry.
