Position Details
- Location: Seton Catholic Prep — 1150 N Dobson Rd, Chandler, AZ 85224
- Focus Areas: English, Health, and Strategies/Study Skills
- Schedule (required, 12.5 hrs/week): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12:30-3:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
- Compensation: $25-$28/hr (contract position)
- Experience providing in-classroom support or scaffolding for students with individualized learning needs
- Comfort and experience working with students on the autism spectrum
- Patience and skill in building rapport gradually and consistently — this student has responded especially well to male tutors recently, though has also worked well with female tutors in the past
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an existing, multi-tutor support team
- Currently enrolled in college or hold a college degree
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communicator who can adapt to the student's pace and comfort level
