Dyslexia-Experienced Tutor for Fifth-Grade Student
Location: Sterling Heights, MI 48312
Pay: $24 per hour
Schedule: Twice per week; Tuesdays and one weekend day preferred
Setting: In person, at the student’s home or a local library
Tutor a bright, social fifth-grade student who was recently diagnosed with dyslexia. The student needs an experienced tutor who can adapt instruction to her learning needs and provide patient, individualized support.
Sessions will focus on strengthening foundational literacy and math skills, supporting homework completion, developing effective learning strategies, reducing frustration, and building academic confidence. The student enjoys basketball, band, and student council and is open to working with a tutor.
The family is ready to begin tutoring and is moving to the Macomb area near Partridge Creek.
Qualifications: Experience supporting students with dyslexia and adapting instruction to individual learning needs.
