Job Summary:
Krsnadasa Inc. DBA TUTOR DOCTOR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an English, STEM, and Special Education Tutor for elementary and Middle school students. This is a part-time, hourly position serving families in Shrewsbury and surrounding towns in Massachusetts. The Tutor will provide individualized instruction and ASD & ADHD support to help elementary and middle school students achieve their academic and developmental goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each elementary student’s needs and learning objectives
- Provide instruction in English, STEM, and Special Education subjects, including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
- Support elementary and middle school students with diverse learning needs, including ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia
- Use engaging, age-appropriate teaching strategies and materials
- Monitor and track student progress and provide regular updates to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Education or Special Education preferred
- At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in English, Math, and Special Education (ASD and ADHD support) at the elementary and middle school level
- Strong knowledge of current educational principles, teaching techniques, and curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of elementary students
- Passion for helping young learners achieve academic success
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to students’ homes for one-on-one, in-person tutoring
