This is not to say that we won’t take Virtual Tutoring clients, because we will do that as well. It is just important that the job applicant understands that many tutoring clients are insisting on in-person sessions (Morris Township, Mendham Borough, Mendham Twp., Chester) as their preferred option.Join us at TDMC as we embark on the gratifying journey of molding young minds and propelling them toward their aspirations.  Job Requirements:- FOR THIS PARTICULAR JOB POST: YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TUTOR IN-PERSON (student’s home) in the towns of Morristown, Mendham and Chester, NJ. - Tutor Doctor is not a brick-and-mortar tutoring center. We go and meet the students where they are (Live or Virtual). The Long Valley address is simply where the home office is located.- Ability to teach K-12th grade Mathematics concepts. Including elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, algebra 2, trig, pre-calc, calculus.- Quickly assess a student's level using your methods and also evidence provided by the client.- Assist with test preparation (tests, quizzes, etc.).- Aid students with homework and lessons during tutoring sessions.- Motivate students to study and stay on task.- Create or follow lesson plans depending on the student's needs.- Teach and reinforce classroom concepts taught at their school.- Maintain a high level of professionalism and collaborate effectively with families and colleagues.- Be willing to meet clients face-to-face in mutually agreed-upon locations.- Travel to the towns mentioned (mandatory) and additional surrounding towns.- Utilize online tools for virtual instruction when required.- Prior tutoring experience preferred but not necessary.- Experience in preparing tutoring lessons for both in-person and virtual settings is preferred. Job Type:Part-time (approx. 8 hours per week, with potential for additional hours if desired).Salary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experience.  Benefits:Flexible, supportive work environment.Referral program.Rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on students’ confidence and academic success.  Join the Tutor Doctor of Morris County team and help students in Morristown, Mendham and Chester achieve their potential — not only in academics, but also in the essential skills that set them up for long-term success.
