Tuthill & Hughes LLP seeks a senior-level attorney to join our private wealth practice in Denver.
We are unique. We are a boutique law firm founded twenty years ago by former partners of a large, historic Denver firm. Tuthill &Hughes combines the technical expertise and complexity of a leading private-client practice with the direct client relationships, professional development opportunities and flexibility of a boutique firm. We are looking for a senior-level attorney to assist our partners in servicing an existing client base.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of private practice with an emphasis in federal transfer tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Admission to practice in Colorado, or the ability to obtain Colorado admission
- Ability to independently draft and review complex estate planning and wealth transfer instruments without significant oversight
- Confidence meeting and engaging independently with private clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

Compensation is based on prior experience and overall billable hour commitment. A full-time senior attorney at Tuthill Hughes may expect to bill 1400 hours annually and earn between $185,000 and $250,000, depending upon a number of variables, including willingness to work in office, mentor associates and participate in business development, and whether the candidate has a transferable book of business.
