Direct Support Professional – Weekday Overnight
Location: Penn Hills, PA
Schedule: Full-Time
- MonTues: 9:00 PM–8:30 AM
- WedFri: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Caseload: 2 individuals
Tutelage Residential Services is a community-based agency supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in a residential setting. We're looking for a dependable, compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our overnight team and provide safe, reliable, person-centered support in a low stress and relaxed environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a safe, stable, and supportive overnight environment
- Provide direct care tailored to individual needs
- Implement positive support plans and encourage independence
- Assist with daily living tasks, meal monitoring, cleaning, and transportation
- Administer medication (training provided)
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Conduct routine safety checks and fire drills
- Communicate with the team to ensure continuity of care
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of Human Services experience (preferred)
- Valid PA driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background checks, physical exam, and TB test
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb stairs, and operate mobility equipment
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and problem-solving ability
