Job Summary
TUTCO, LLC, a leading manufacturer of heat strips and heating elements, used in the HVAC and Appliance industry is seeking Assemblers to join their Cookeville, TN facility. TUTCO LLC. is a Subsidiary of Smiths Group with Headquarters in London, England.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products following detailed work instructions and safety guidelines
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment to complete assembly tasks
- Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled items meet specifications and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues that may arise during assembly processes
- Must be able to rotate and move around throughout home and other departments, as needed.
- Read blueprints to determine specifications
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing facility experience preferred
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to reach and follow written and verbal instructions
- Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly line operations is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
- Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Reliability and good attendance is required
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
