What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Instructor-Small Animal Community Practice position at tuskegee?
The successful applicant must have a commitment to the University's tri-partite mission of teaching, research, and service. This position requires participation in classroom, clinical and laboratory instruction of veterinary students, graduate students, interns, and graduate veterinarians. The successful applicant must demonstrate creative scholarship and collaborative research activities in small animal community practice and develop innovative teaching and service programs. Participation in providing client medicine and surgery services to the Small Animal Teaching Hospital is required. Clinical services also include participation in after-hours emergency duty. The successful applicant must develop strong professional relationships with referring veterinarians and participate in state and national outreach and continuing education. Participation on college and university committees is expected.
