What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Small Animal Community Practice position at tuskegee?
Full-time Clinical track or Tenure track faculty position in Small Animal Community Practice. The faculty member is primarily responsible for providing client and patient services to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in the Community Practice service. The faculty member will provide clinical and laboratory instruction to veterinary students, graduate students, interns, and graduate veterinarians in small-animal community practice and related disciplines. Primary teaching focus includes the clinical phase of the four-year veterinary curriculum as well as some instruction within the preclinical curriculum.The successful candidate will join a team of passionate faculty educators, technicians, veterinary assistants and interns. The Community Practice service is supported by diagnostic imaging (radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography) and a full-service diagnostic laboratory that includes clinical pathology, parasitology, microbiology, histopathology and necropsy. Additional clinical units in the Small Animal Teaching Hospital include small-animal internal medicine, small-animal emergency and critical care, small-animal surgery, dentistry, and dermatology.
