Job Summary
The individual will teach aerospace engineering courses, conduct research, advise students, and serve on departmental, college and university committees.
Essential Job Duties
- Teach aerospace engineering courses as assigned by the Department Head
- Conduct research and publish in peer reviewed conferences/proceedings/journals
- Write proposals to external agencies for grants/contracts
- Provide academic and career advisement to students
- Serve on departmental, college and university committees
- Conduct student learning outcomes assessment
- Carry out other academic responsibilities assigned by the Department Head
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Aerospace Engineering
- Undergraduate in Aerospace Engineering
- Research experience
