Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to support engineering and technology programs at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement system solutions that enhance mission-critical operations and ensure alignment with program objectives.
Essential Job Duties
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and JT professionals to assess system requirements and develop solutions
- Analyze current systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Support integration and testing of hardware/software systems across various NASA programs
- Develop documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate system performance and recommendations
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in lab and operational environments
- Maintain configuration control and ensure compliance with NASA standards and protocols
- Participate in planning and execution of system upgrades and deployments
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2 years of experience in systems analysis, integration, or technical support (NASA or aerospace experience preferred)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, system modeling, and documentation platforms
- Preferred experience with lab operations, system testing, and configuration management
Physical Demands
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to walk short distances
- Ability to lift and carry parcels, packages and other items
- Ability to view a computer terminal
Skills and Attributes
