What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Operations Supervisor position at Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems?
Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders.
- This job is located in Caro, Michigan.
- Full-time position; 40 hours/wk. (Monday-Friday) Willingness to work flexible hours is desirable.
- Salary Range:
- $38.82 - $43.46 per hour
- $5,000.00 sign-on bonus available (If eligible, first payment at 6 months; second payment at 12 months)

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan required.
- Supervisory experience and a minimum of three (3) years nursing experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours is desirable.
- Must possess a current and valid Michigan Driver’s license and vehicle insurance coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct supervision to nursing and psychiatric support staff and cases served within the nursing services program of TBHS.
- Oversight of the TBHS nursing on-call system.
- Performing a variety of administrative and managerial tasks including management of program-level budgets, serving as a liaison with internal and external healthcare providers, actively participating in human resource activities, and providing leadership to staff as it relates to performance improvement and corporate compliance
- Direct responsibility for oversight and daily operations of the Integrated Healthcare Clinic and the Medication Clinic; as well as other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery-based practices.
