The Director of Project Management leads business attraction, supports local industry growth, and manages key real estate assets that drive investment and job creation in Tuscarawas County. This role is ideal for a relationship‑builder who thrives in economic development, project management, and strategic community outreach.
What You’ll Do
- Lead business attraction by responding to RFPs, managing project leads, and preparing competitive proposals.
- Build relationships with companies, site selectors, real estate professionals, and community partners.
- Advance development sites by coordinating with partners on buildings, infrastructure, and property readiness.
- Track and report on organizational KPIs, manage economic & community grant applications, and deliver reports to stakeholders.
- Elevate the economic assets of the county, EDFA real estate assets, including a logistics warehouse.
- Support marketing, events, outreach campaigns, and investor relations.
What You Bring
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools, data platforms, and modern digital workflows.
- Ability to manage projects, solve problems, and build partnerships.
- Professionalism, integrity, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Preferred: Degree in business, or related field; preferred experience non profit work, economic development or community development. Willingness to learn and take on community challenges.
Work Environment: Office, industrial, and field settings; occasional early/late hours for meetings and events. Some hybrid work.

Company Description Tuscarawas County Economic Development Corp. (EDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on strengthening the economy of Tuscarawas County. The EDC provides financial tools, economic development resources, and information to support commercial businesses and builders throughout the county. It manages the Economic Development & Finance Alliance (EDFA) of Tuscarawas County, the Tuscarawas Transportation Improvement District, and T.E.A.M. Tuscarawas, streamlining access to development programs and services.
