What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Host position at Tuscany Suites and Casino?
We are looking for a Host for the Pub 365 Restaurant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous fashion.
- Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.
- Assist in the set-up of special events and occasions.
- Assist the manager with administrative duties.
- Work as a contributing team member and act in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Possess a positive attitude and work well with others, including reliability and being punctual.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time.
- All other duties assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years old. 1 year restaurant experience preferred. Knowledge of craft beer preferred. Experience of or a good working knowledge of using a computerized ordering system. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels. Must be effective at listening, understanding guest needs and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests. Ability to be flexible and to perform multiple tasks effectively. Friendly, open disposition and professional presentation. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
