Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Teller role located in Tuscaloosa, AL. The Teller will be responsible for performing daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries, while providing excellent member service. Other responsibilities include identifying member needs, cross-selling financial products or services, maintaining accurate transaction records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The Teller will actively contribute to creating a friendly and professional environment within the branch.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to deliver excellent member experiences
- Cash handling, transaction processing, and basic math skills with a high level of accuracy
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records
- Ability to effectively communicate and promote financial products or services to members
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in banking or customer service is a plus
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential
