What You'll Do
- Complete state-certified training in law, arrest procedures, and firearms
- Train alongside sworn officers across patrol and department operations
- Respond to calls, assist the public, and support daily police work
- Prepare reports, maintain equipment, and keep certifications current
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (APOST-recognized)
- At least 21 (or 20 and enrolled in the City Cadet Program)
- U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license
- Eligible for A.P.O.S.T.C. academy and firearms licensing
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (safety-sensitive role)
